Tiktok's popularity has raised Google's concern. That's why Google is now preparing to launch YouTube shorts. In shorts, users will be able to create and upload short videos like Tiktok.

The popularity of the short video making platform TikTok has increased Google's concern. This is why Google is now thinking of launching a special version of its video platform YouTube 'Shorts'. Google will try to pull Tiktok users to its side through YouTube shorts. Through shorts, users will be able to upload short videos inside the mobile app, like Tiktok.

Users of Tiktok grew rapidly, Tiktok was first launched in China in 2016. After that, its global launch took place in the year 2018. In the Tiktok app, users create and upload 3 to 60 seconds of video. Tiktok's mobile app made people crazy as soon as it was launched and its number of users reached crores and this app became popular all over the world.

YouTube users shifting on Tiktok

  • Google's biggest tension is that its YouTube users and creators are slowly shifting to Tiktok. In recent times, many YouTubers have created their Tiktok account and started uploading short videos on it. Google is working on YouTube shorts to retain its YouTube video creator so that YouTube creators remain on YouTube itself.

YouTube has some plus point

  • The plus point of YouTube shorts will be that it has a much higher number of licensed video, audio and music than TicTalk. In such a situation, creators will get the option of millions of music to make their videos.

As of now, the number of active users of TikTok is 500 million (50 crores) worldwide. Although, it is much less than 200 Crores active users of YouTube, but the speed with which Tiktok users are increasing, it can be said that in terms of user base Tiktok can soon match YouTube. And maybe even more than that.

Other companies are also trying to bathe in TikTok’s river of fame. Facebook has already been testing an app called Lasso in some markets like Brazil.
