: All students from first class to eighth grade will be promoted to the next class under the No Detention Policy.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia has said that the Delhi government will start online classes of two subjects for Class 12. This system will be launched in the first week of April for class 12th students.

The government has also decided that they give students of class 10th and 12th an allowance to puchase data pack on their phones for online classes.

These studensts should not stop learning through parents, teachers and technology .the government said that we are working on a plan. After consultation, the
government have decided that stidents till class eighth we will send an activity or an assignment through SMS and IVR . These activitu will be recorded in their notebook and internal assignment will be done. "Sisodia added"

At the same time, all the students from first class to eighth class will be promoted to the next class under the No Detention Policy. Further, the government also said that teachers will be in touch with the students up to class 8 on phone calls.

Let us know that due to the corona virus spreading across the country, many state governments have promoted children from first class to eighth for the next class because the exam and studies are not possible due to the lockdown.

At the same time, the registration date of many colleges has also been extended. Exam dates like NEET and JEE have also been extended. The entrance examination for Navodaya for class 6th has also been stopped for the time being.
